About Pauline Francis
Pauline’s career began when she was a teenager and took over the family business, manufacturing heavy industrial machinery. As an entrepreneur, she oversaw all aspects of the business, including operations, procurement, sales, distribution, tax compliance and workforce management. Pauline successfully implemented her exit strategy seven years later, negotiating the sale of her company and facilitating the smooth transition of business operations.
Pauline has over 25 years’ Accounting & Finance experience working with diverse industries including manufacturing, technology, medical device, fashion & apparel, service, staffing and non-profit organizations. Her range of expertise includes working with start-ups, VC funding, due diligence by Big 4 audit firms, acquisitions and post-acquisition integration, system conversion, downsizing and reorganization, setting up international operations, and managing banking relationships. Pauline is adept at strategic planning, process efficiency improvements, internal controls implementation, cash flow planning and management, revenue recognition and weekly / monthly financial performance reporting to track essential metrics and KPIs. From developing best practices in credit & collections and audit trails, to structuring and negotiating contracts, bank lines and leases, Pauline works resourcefully with management, customers, vendors, partners and professionals to ensure that the company’s sales and operations are well supported and all assets are protected.
Pauline has an innate ability to build, direct and motivate teams by fostering a spirit of collaboration and team-work.
